Our Story
Karuna Essentials began with Karen Stewart’s love for Calendula and a desire to create natural skincare. Inspired by the healing power of Calendula, which she had used on her children and in her Kindergarten work, Karen began experimenting with her own Calendula-based products. After receiving positive feedback at local events, she realised the products were helping others with their skin issues. This led to the creation of Karuna Essentials—simple, natural, and effective skincare made with Calendula, produced in small batches in Ireland.

Karen Stewart – Founder & Skincare Creator
From childhood Karen has always felt the magic and healing in nature, for solace, and to experience deeper connection with herself. With a background in nursing, holistic health, and child psychotherapy, Karen has always been drawn to natural healing. Her love for Calendula and simple, effective skincare led to the creation of Karuna Essentials.
She’s dedicated to offering natural products that truly work.
